Food and Garden Dailies started as a way to record my family's favorite recipes. It has come in handy many times when I'm asked for a recipe. I simply email a link to the blog! But I couldn't just stick to recipes. The kitchen is tied to the garden in so many ways...and so I let you into my ever changing garden as well.

If you're interested in my all-time favorite recipes, check out this post first: My Favorite Recipes

What Have You Liked?

Pin It I love having this blog, because when asked for a recipe, I can simply direct people to the internet. It's sooooo much more efficient than copying it down, misplacing it, finding it months later in a pile, and completely forgetting to pass it on. This works quite well! But I often wonder if anyone actually makes any of these recipes. So, I'm asking, what have you made that you liked? (And, yeah, I can handle it if you made something from here that you didn't like!!)

If you haven't tried anything, might I suggest one of the following. After you make the dish(es), let me know what you think!

Twice Baked Potatoes
Cappuccino Cheesecake

Old Fashioned Apple Pie

Marinated Flank Steak
Cheesy Basil-Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Barbequed Herb-Mustard Chicken

Baked Macaroni & Cheese
Chicken Tequila Fettuccine

Broccoli with Garlic Butter and Cashews

Potstickers

Lemon-Peach Fizz

I haven't tried any of your recipes, though they look delicious, mostly because you haven't posted many recipes since I became a regular reader. And another reason is because I forget. There are so many recipes floating out there that one thing looks good and then you forget where you saw it. One thing I've really appreciated is your tomato sauce tutorial. I referenced that so many times!

I'm a lurker on Peas, and bookmarked your blog back in the summer. I've checked in several times to look for recipes, so I appreciate your efforts!

I've made the marinated flank steaks (several times, and have two in the freezer right now)- those are a huge favorite in our house. All three of my kids love this marinade, and request it all the time.

I've also made the twice-baked potatoes. I actually made them before seeing your recipe, but followed your advice on making a huge batch and freezing some. So thanks for that as well!

I have your fresh herbed chicken in the freezer right now, too. I had a bunch of leftover fresh herbs that I wanted to use before going to waste, so I found your recipe and made it. Will try soon...

I have a basil plant on the patio that I haven't killed yet, ;) so I'll have to try the cheesy basil chicken breasts- they look yummy!

So thank you again for this blog. Someone out here in cyberland appreciates it and even uses it. :)

Since I don't eat meat or make dessert very often I haven't made any of your recipes. However, I have found your blog inspiring and that's essentially how I use my cook books too.

I am intrigued by the idea of freezing big batches of twice baked potatoes. I think I will have to do a version of this with no bacon.

well, dg, seeing I've already made the "done to death apple bread" lol, and the tequila chicken fettucine (awesome), I have yet to try anything else but I'm definitely coming back to try! I've written down the recipes for Beer and Brown sugar marinade, as well as the Chicken/Beef Sate, the BBQ herb mustard chicken, as well as your entire 20+ meals post! I'll be back to give my reviews!
